GAA Glacial Acetic Acid

Property description: Colorless transparent liquid. When pure acetic acid is below 16℃, it can form an icy solid, so it is called glacial acetic acid. Miscible with water, ethanol, benzene and diethyl ether, insoluble in carbon disulfide. When water is added to acetic acid, the total volume after mixing decreases and the density increases. The molecular ratio is 1:1, further diluted, and the above volume change does not occur. It has a pungent smell.

Storage precautions: Store in a cool, ventilated warehouse. Keep away from fire and heat. Keep the temperature above 16℃ in winter to prevent solidification. Keep the container airtight. It should be stored separately from oxidizer and alkali, and should not be mixed. Explosion-proof lighting and ventilation facilities are adopted. Do not use mechanical equipment and tools that can easily generate sparks. The storage area should be equipped with leak emergency treatment equipment and suitable holding materials.
